CEO, Owner: AI Law | AI Governance | EU AI ACT
Vision 2030
By 2030, I believe that every one of us will have an AI colleague working alongside us. AI agents will no longer be a novelty, envisioned in a flashy, sci-fi sense, but rather a part of the work environment, social and daily life. It won’t feel artificial. Corresponding to this, we will no longer be asking what AI can do, testing it for accuracy, robustness and alignment. The real question will be what it should do. What tasks should inherently remain performed by humans?Humans will be seriously challenged to compete in an existential way with systems that can do almost anything. The driving factor for this work environment will be individuals who demonstrate incredible levels of adaptability, readiness to learn fast and offer something unique and valuable to the changed world, such as innovators with ethical education and demonstrated safe AI practices.
We’ll see the legal system evolve to protect individuals from AI-related harm. By 2030, most developed countries will have real AI laws. AI systems won’t be allowed to operate in high-risk sectors without passing legal and technical audits. I believe that we will see the rise of “Algorithmic Rights,” such as the right to an explanation for AI decisions. New court practices will evolve around these questions. We will interpret human rights within a machine-human-related context.
Business Advice
As someone who works closely with both providers (developers) and deployers of AI systems on their legal and compliance projects, I’d say that every responsible AI framework starts with documentation. - Collecting data for your new project? Document it. - Anticipated a new AI risk during testing? Document it. - Have a question for your AI system provider about their responsible AI practices? Document it. - Unsure if you need additional consent for AI training? Document it. This habit will help you address questions specific to your AI use case and lay the groundwork for any regulatory action you may need to take.
If you’re an AI-driven company, make AI discussions part of your workflow. Talk about both industry trends and the evolving regulatory landscape. Every literacy transformation, including AI literacy, starts with asking the right questions. Only then can you find the right answers. Small steps taken early will take you far.
My Favorite AI Tool
I love discovering new tools every day and I especially enjoy learning about the innovators behind them. One tool that recently caught my full attention is Crystal (Crypto Co Counsel) - an AI solution that helps people around the world get fast and affordable answers to their crypto compliance questions. It’s also a valuable resource for law firms, enabling them to generate reports and regulatory compliance documents across multiple jurisdictions. The founder is an incredible female lawyer, and I might be biased here, but I genuinely love seeing AI tools reshape the legal industry. So, my vote will always go to legal-focused use cases.

Vision 2030
By 2030, I envision a world where ethical AI isn’t an afterthought, it’s the foundation. Responsible development, inclusive design and transparent governance will be part of how we measure innovation itself. The businesses that thrive will be those that understand AI is not just a tool, but a reflection of the systems and values we choose to build. I believe Europe has a unique opportunity to lead in this space by showing that tech progress and human progress can go hand in hand.
Business Advice
Don’t just “use AI”, decide what kind of world you're helping to shape with it and what are your goals. Whether you're a founder, consultant, or enterprise leader, the real competitive edge lies in alignment: between tech, people and your principles. Start small, but build with intention.
My Favorite AI Tool
Right now, I enjoy using Perplexity for quick research and idea validation but the tool I use the most is ChatGPT, it helps me think, write, plan and shape my vision.

Vision 2030
I view the developments around artificial intelligence with confidence – but also with a healthy dose of realism. Technological progress is undoubtedly impressive. At the same time, not every challenge is automatically a use case for AI – and certainly not for every new buzzword. In 2025, many are calling "Agentic AI" the next big wave. But as with any tech trend, one truth remains: not every solution fits every problem. What matters is deploying AI technologies where they truly add value – with a clear understanding of their limitations, risks, and real-world goals. I believe in the principle of symbiotic AI – a meaningful and productive interaction between humans and machines. A future where repetitive, inefficient processes are automated, and human potential is unleashed for value creation, creativity, and entrepreneurship. What I’m critical of, however, are AI systems optimized primarily for consumption and passivity. This technology deserves to be used responsibly – not to replace or control people, but to empower them.
Business Advice
My recommendation: Use technology pragmatically – iteratively, impact-driven, and with common sense. The AI hype often promises a lot – but rarely delivers everything. Organizations that adopt technologies blindly, without anchoring them in operations, risk disappointing stakeholders and creating an innovation vacuum in the long term. What’s needed: A clear target vision, realistic use cases, and established behaviors that ensure long-term AI success. We’re talking about AI-H.B.I.Ts – the daily habits that help embed AI effectively and sustainably within the organization.
My Favorite AI Tool
My daily tool of choice is MyGPT – a GDPR-compliant GPT instance with RAG-based access to internal knowledge bases. It’s not just about generative AI for standard tasks – it’s about enabling direct access to company-specific knowledge. It saves time, improves decision quality, and supports the creation of documents, presentations, and analyses across all business units. As a managing director, I see MyGPT not just as a smart assistant, but as a practical productivity booster in everyday business. https://leftshiftone.com/mygpt/
Mario Kleinsasser
CTO, Austria, Nordcloud an IBM Company
Vision 2030
By the year 2030, IT engineers will be tasked with orchestrating AI bots that take over a wide range of Day-2 operations tasks. Due to demographic shifts and the retirement of many IT professionals from the Boomer generation, a growing number of standardized responsibilities will have to be managed by a shrinking workforce. Agentic AI systems will therefore become a core methodology that must be firmly established across the European IT industry by 2030 – enabling both companies and professionals to fully capitalize on the benefits of this technology.
Business Advice
Companies just now entering the field of Agentic AI are already among the late adopters. This transformation requires more than just technology – it demands a cultural shift. It's critical to understand that Cloud and AI are no longer innovations; they are today’s standard. The focus now must shift to the business value these technologies can deliver.
My Favorite AI Tool
My preferred AI tool isn’t actually a pure AI solution – it’s a platform that allows seamless integration of various AI services, both locally (like Ollama) and via cloud providers such as Azure, AWS, or Google. I’m talking about n8n.io, a powerful workflow automation and orchestration platform. What stands out is its flexibility: n8n can be hosted in your own data center, in the cloud, or privately on your laptop via Docker. The AI Agent block (Tools Agent) enables the creation of entirely new, intelligent workflows that generate significant business value. Agentic AI made real!.

Vision 2030
By 2030, I foresee—also in light of shifting geopolitical conditions—a growing strategic need and expansion of European infrastructures, along with intensified funding for technology development in navigation, communications, Earth observation, cybersecurity, and AI. Many of these services, especially satellite-constellation communications, are already under development or in the process of being rolled out. The latest advances in AI, cybersecurity, and digitalization arrive at exactly the right time to propel these systems to levels of effectiveness we have never before seen.
Here we witness an evolution in classic ST technologies: the traditional space-industry incumbents can learn from and benefit through the capabilities and experiences of innovative firms outside the space sector. Collaboration between these two spheres will only grow, leading to a true technology transfer and embedding newfound innovations into our next-generation infrastructures.
These developments will not only boost citizens’ quality of life but also create new economic opportunities and jobs. At the same time, the expansion of digital infrastructures will revolutionize access to education, healthcare, and public services.
Business Advice
Space travel has become a major economic driver worldwide. Companies outside the ST sector should increasingly seek partnerships with established space-industry players to foster technology transfer for the next generation of space technologies and infrastructure. The ESA, EUSPA, EDA, and European Commission offer numerous technology-development programmes to make this future possible. Collaborations with new entrants in AI, cybersecurity, communications, and related fields are key—and explicitly encouraged.
My Favorite AI Tool
Artificial intelligence is already being integrated into various missions, particularly for the automated analysis of satellite imagery and Earth-observation data more broadly. Moreover, this technology is becoming ever more critical for satellite control, especially given the rapid growth of satellite constellations being launched in staggering numbers.

Vision 2030
The world is in fast-forward. And foresight is the new currency. AI, human behaviours, and shifting macro forces demand foresight skills.
Tomorrow’s disruption will be human driven, enabled by accelerating technology. My work is rooted in rewriting the playbooks for human experience by viewing them through the lens of rapidly shifting consumer behaviour and empowerment tech—from personal consumer-side AI agents, Digital IDs, VR/AR, and personalisation engines to real-time analytics.
By 2030, I believe brands and experiences must be designed for a world where consumers are in control, in constant motion, identity-fluid, and empowered by intelligent technologies that amplify their ability to choose, switch, and shape the experiences they want.
Consumers won’t be passive recipients of brand messaging but active curators of their identity-driven experience ecosystems. Tech, and especially AI, will enhance this empowerment. Traditional segments, static personas, and linear journeys no longer serve us. Instead, we should design for multiple customer modes, messy middles, and fluid expectations. The brands that thrive will embrace complexity and agility, build systems for adaptive behaviours, and be willing to unlearn what worked yesterday.
We won’t just manage experiences—we’ll orchestrate adaptive, responsive, moment-aware ecosystems that reflect who the customer is right now, not who we assumed they were. new currency.

Business Advice
The most successful brands of the next decade will question legacy models, challenge assumptions, leverage new technologies quickly and be brave enough to test, iterate, and redesign their entire models for markets. True innovation comes not from perfecting what worked in the past but from relentlessly designing for the next. That means embracing fluidity, relevance, and building brands we can "borrow" in whatever moment or identity state we’re in.

Vision 2030
I believe that by 2030 we will experience a new form of economy—one where technology and humanity are not in opposition but complement each other meaningfully. Companies will be measured not only by revenue but by the quality of their relationships—with customers, employees, and society. Trust, clarity, and collaboration on equal footing will be central success factors. And the best ideas will no longer emerge in isolation but through exchange—in communities that enable connection rather than merely collecting contacts.
Business Advice
Start with the people, not the idea. The best projects arise where there is trust, where people meet honestly and are not immediately judged—allowing them to collectively determine what is truly needed. For me, business is more than just the market—it is about relationships.
My Favorite AI Tool
I use ChatGPT regularly—not as an answer machine, but as a thinking partner. I write concepts, organize thoughts, and further develop new formats with it. However, the best outcomes still happen in real conversations—when you resonate with people.

Vision 2030
I approach these questions from my own professional expertise: marketing and sales in a B2B environment. The pace of change in this space over the last two decades has been incredible, but what has happened in just the past two years is truly game-changing. The biggest challenge has always been balancing personalization at scale—and today, AI is helping solve that.
Within our programs, we’ve already reached a point where AI covers 80% of sales messaging on Social, automates CRM updates, and reduces social content creation time by 75%. Looking ahead to 2030, I see AI not just supporting marketing and sales but driving outcomes directly based on business KPIs. Barriers like execution time and operational bottlenecks will disappear, and companies that successfully adopt and integrate AI will have a major competitive advantage. It’s not just about having the tech—it’s about embedding it into how teams work. Sink or swim, win or lose.
At the same time, people will be more important than ever. With AI handling execution, marketing and sales teams will focus on understanding the target audience, refining value propositions, and collaborating on strategy. The real challenge will be driving adoption—because growth will be determined by technology improvements divided by workforce adoption rate.
Business Advice
The biggest mistake I see? Companies buy a tool, hit play, and hope for the best. AI isn’t just another automation tool—it’s a fundamental shift in how we approach problems. A few years ago, automation in marketing and sales was all about keywords triggering responses. Today, it’s the opposite: you train AI on your company, your values, and your process, then let it analyze the full lead journey and recommend the best next steps—all while updating your CRM in real time. Businesses that embrace this shift and integrate AI thoughtfully will unlock serious growth.
