The Quiet Cost of Frictionless Thinking
July 2026
There is a moment, which is barely existing today. It is the one just before we feel the understanding.
You can relate if one of those questiosn is following you for days, sits with you at the breakfast table, in your office and returns home with you in the car. It is not solved, but takes shape in a more clearer sense, slowly stape by step. (Uh baby)
Today this moment is slmost gone, it disapperas from any request we send to our AI assistants to find the answers. Some call it efficiency. We celebrate it, instead going on a journey of real work and joy to solve it by ourselves.
Was thinking, the real thiking always very dependable on some kind of resistance. The paper which is filling up with words, then being crossed out, rewritten many times, until it feels (and that feeling it is) right for us. Sometimes leaving us with even more question, than just this one perfect anaswer.
The future will certainly offer us increasingly perfect answers. Shaped as expected, no edges, in the box as a commodity product in the supermarket. Off the shelves in abundance.
What I hope, that some things will carry on the beauty of incompletness.
